This is the second of a 2 book series Ð the first title is Reading Words From the Classroom. Reading Words From The Community introduces the names (nouns) for things in around the community and the house in simple ways. Pictures are extensively used to introduce the vocabulary to students so that understanding and learning is enhanced. The completed pages can be collected into a folder or scrapbook and they form into a useful dictionary of nouns that will assist students in their reading and writing.
This series is suitable for all students learning new words and particularly for students who are non-english speakers. Reading Words From the Community introduces words from around the community and the house.
